Exchange so far

I have been in Korea for a week now and I love it. All of the exchange students are amazing :). Before I came here I told myself that I would try to stay away from other English speaking students because I wanted to meet locals and learn Korean faster. However, all of the exchange students are so kind and amazing :D and I am very grateful to have met them.

We had orientation yesterday. I got to hang out with my Korean buddy (who is super kind and amazing). Also I had to sing in front of the students for a challenge. I was sooo shy that I forgot my own national anthem >_> fail… but I had a german guy tell me that I had a nice voice so I guess it is ok haha.

After Orientation the exchange students met at the fountain on campus and hung out and drank. We then went to a club! ^^ the club wasn’t very crowed because it was a weekday but it was still a lot of fun. Once again I was shocked because one of the Japanese guys told me I could dance >_>… I have been told I can’t dance since birth…

Tomorrow I start my first day at the KNU international writing center. I am extremely nervous but also excited. I met my boss on Tuesday and he was much kinder than I was expecting. I had heard from someone that he was very cold. He is Canadian and very talkative! I was shocked that he had an eyebrow peircing… I got rid of my lip ring for this job and now I regret it >_>…
